How does package pricing save me money? Can I just pay by the hour?

Yes, you can pay by the hour. Our hourly rate is $100 but let me explain why that’s not the best option we have. If you choose to have us come into your home or office and work with you to make your space more functional for you, the All Inclusive package is your best option because it not only secures your future dates, but it includes a discounted rate for all the work we will be doing for you when we leave your house. If you hire us by the hour, then we will have to bill you for those hours we work behind the scene, where we will be coming up with options and designs for your space, shopping, and dropping off donations. Also, if someone else purchases a pre-paid package and wants the same time slot you want, they have the first pick on slots.

Do I pay upfront or after the session is finished?

All packages are paid in full prior to starting our first session. The reason for this is easy, accountability is the key to success, and we want you to succeed in this process. Also it secures your time and dates ahead of time so we can order supplies if need be and it helps us to all stay on task.

Can’t we just get everything done in one session?

Decluttering is an emotional process. It often requires time for someone to assess if they can let go of certain items, and what “letting go” looks like to them, whether that is donating, passing down to a family member or friend or actually throwing it away. It will take a couple sessions of working together to really get into our groove and then things will begin to speed up. It is important to me that we work at your speed during this step, as we understand how emotional this can be and we won’t push you to toss things that have special meaning to you.

Can’t I just have a friend help me declutter and organize?

Of course you can, but understand that good friends are hard to come by and trust me, when you walk out of the room, they might feel they have your best interest at heart and toss something that means more to you than they know. We have found that it’s much better to have a third party, unbiased person help you with this so you can look forward to your coffee dates with friends and Thanksgiving with your family without having hard feelings over tossed possessions. So, sit back and enjoy your coffee with a friend and we will get to work on the tough stuff!
